Christina Hendricks was born on May 3, 1978, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was raised in Twin Falls, Idaho since the age of four. As an actress, she made her mark in a number of guest television appearances. Hendricks' first TV break came when she became a regular in the series Beggars & Choosers. After being cast in a bit role in an episode of Joss Whedon's Angel, she starred in the series The Court, opposite Sally Field, as well as the law drama Kevin Hill. She has also had recurring roles on ER and Joss Whedon's Firefly. On stage Hendricks has appeared in Agnes of God, Blythe Spirit, All My Sons and Jesus Christ Superstar and on the big screen she starred in film South of Pico (2007).
Currently, she can be seen as the sexy office manager Joan on the AMC original series Mad Men.
